SCIENCE OF HAPPINESS - By Request

Level: Cadette

 This 3-hour workshop will allow Cadettes to learn to let go and find her personal inner happy through yoga, journaling, and creating her own vision board.  She will learn breathing practices to de-stress and relax.  This workshop will provide everyday tools and provide a rainbow of happiness and fun! Upon completion, Cadettes will have finished all steps to earn the "Science of Happiness" badge.

TEEN HEALTH MATTERS WORKSHOP - By Request

Level: Senior/Ambassador

Healthy Living "Women's Health" Badge. 

This 3-hour workshop is for Ambassadors and Seniors.   There are 3 components:  Managing Stress: During the workshop, participants will practice meditation & yoga and explore moods. The Body: We will talk about body image, self-confidence and participate in an interactive exercise on the power of positive and negative self-talk. Global Beauty: Who defines beauty? What is beauty? are just a few questions to explore.  In discussing global beauty, girls may have the opportunity to experience the Indian tradition of henna. Upon completion, girls will have completed all steps to earn the Women’t Health Badge.

MY BEST SELF WORKSHOP - By Request

Level: Brownie

My Best Self through Yoga and Play. Learn to treat the body with respect and manage with self-care. Explore poses and breathing practices that help the body and mind relax. Enjoy yoga games and a craft. Brownies will earn the Healthy Living "My Best Self" badge. Upon completion, Brownies will have finished all steps to earn the "My Best Self" badge.

STAYING FIT WORKSHOP - By Request

Level: Jr Girl Scout

Get moving with Yoga and learn how to stress less and make healthy food choices. Use breathing practices and journaling as tools to de-stress. Junior Girl Scouts will earn the Healthy Living "Staying Fit" badge. Bring a yoga mat or large towel. Upon completion, Juniors will have finished all steps to earn the "Staying Fit "badge.
